Jordan Boyd is one of those special brand ambassadors that thrives in the field. He sat down with us to talk about the industry, his experience with All Aces Promotional Staffing, and working the AT&T Tribeca Drive-In events post COVID-19.
Who is Jordan
Jordan is an experienced project manager and team leader who has managed teams for The United Nations, Target, AT&T, Wells Fargo, and many other high-profile brands. Jordan has worked on both sides of staffing for over 8 years. He ultimately decided to return to fieldwork for the dynamic opportunities to meet new people, and teach consumers about amazing new products and brands. An avid soccer player, former theatre kid, and seasoned brand ambassador, Jordan brings the leadership and knowledge that make a good activation great.
Our Interview with Jordan
How has it been managing New York events for the AT&T Tribeca Drive-In? What did you like about these events?
AT&T Tribeca Drive-In has been a breath of fresh air. The coordination amongst the marketing team, Tribeca, and AT&T leadership has proven that, even in the middle of a serious pandemic, they’re determined to give their customers the best experience possible. I appreciate the precautions that the Tribeca and AT&T teams have taken to ensure patrons are safe, while also providing a fun environment for friends and family alike.
What is it like being a field manager during COVID-19?
Well, it’s a bit different to say the least. There are extra layers of safety of course, and that’s wonderful. Our BA teams and security staff have been flexible and have certainly taken a “can-do” attitude with everything, so it’s definitely been a positive experience. I do find myself communicating more with my hands because my mouth is covered in a mask; but, that’s a small price to pay to be back after the hectic few months we’ve had.
How are people receiving the event? How are the BA’s and consumers feeling?
I honestly think people have been even more receptive to these kinds of events than they’ve been in the past. People recognize that we are putting the customer before all else and our brand ambassadors have done an exceptional job welcoming everyone on site. My job is pretty darn easy since I’ve had such a great staff to work with.
What is it like being an All Aces team member?
Well, I’ve worked with All Aces for a few years now and I’ve always enjoyed it. I feel supported by the team and I always have an avenue of communication if I need it. There’s a reason they’re the best staffing agency in NY, they’re always adapting and listening to their on-site staff. I feel proud to work with All Aces.
While COVID-19 has impacted the whole events industry, our brand ambassadors have continued to stay positive and passionate about the events.
